BORN, NOT TO PERISH
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 KJV
BORN, NOT TO PERISH!
Before the beginning began, God loved the world. Yet, not this world but that which is to come. This present world is ours to manage and care for tenderly, the next is His to administer and process. This present has world been willed and given to us and our children to tend and make "good" by replenishing, obviously with the word of Life. Adam, when created by God was not even instructed to "worship" but work! God said to Adam, "Tend this garden!" Thence, our work becomes our worship and vice versa.
As far as God is concerned, the whole earth as His footstool, is His temple for worship and not any special building. And the whole earth would be His altar if we'll make it good and habitable. At creation, the earth formation was somewhat disturbed - God created, the enemy corrupted sowing tares, yet God said, "Everything is good", since all things work together for good to them that love God to them who are called according to His purpose, Rom 8:28. So in wisdom, God made many "earths" which formed today's Universe. God loved the world - the very world He perceived, conceived and will achieve at the Second Coming of Jesus.
Many things were affected including the creation of mankind, things became disorderly and corrupt because of the devil's activities (formerly Lucifer) going to and fro the earth in the name of helping God and contributing to God's work. When he discovered God made things by His "words", he spoke also his own hurtful, hateful, soulful words which were his tares, "weeds" into the heart of creation. Lucifer son of the dawn created nothing; the devil actually made nothing but he corrupted everything God made!
Seemingly, man was born to die because God had said, "In the day you eat of the fruit of the tree of Conscience, you will surely die." They - Adams, having been beguiled by the Devil, the Serpent who's Satan the Oldest, ate of that fruit and died that day (less than a thousand years). So also were children born to mankind - they all began to grow old and die. Still, God loved the world so much that He remembered His rainbow of affection toward mankind. God wanted man to live forever but now, things seemed to have changed because man changed it...
A beautiful Saviour was sent and born to mankind, whom they killed. The world stood against the Saviour and crucified Him the only begotten Son of God for living above "standards" their traditions and somewhat ended God's life among people. Lord Jesus the Saviour was the One who outlined and displayed to us plainly, what requires of mankind and how we must return to God our Creator by being born by Him. The logic was, if our parents died, we also will die. But if God be our parents by substitution, we will live forever!
My friend, let me ask few questions: Have you been born by God? Has God shed His own water and blood on you? Have you been to the Cross where Jesus died, where His water and blood were shed? Look, except you go through the Cross, come in through the Door, you're still your very humble Self, unchanged, unborn, not recognized by God! Only those who are born at the Cross, washed and salted are bonafide God's children and they'll never go missing nor hissing. No grumbling, no complaining but giving thanks! God will be their Shepherd on green pastures, leading them to their own mansion. They go out and come in and find pastures to eat and stillwater to drink. In fact, God will be their Father - their parents 'gangan', and they'll be called, "Children of God" which is the most wonderful thing ever, something thought to be impossibly hard, beyond all comprehension! My friend, be BORN AGAIN today!
