Matthew Twenty Four
And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. Matt 24:11 KJV
Our Lord who's Lord of the Sabbath, Jesus Christ, with His earthly army - disciples, departed the Temple and its naughty distractions, they left having tried to put things right without tangible results. So what else do you expect would happen to the entire edifice and magnificence? Surely, to come to crumbles!! The rest of their activities in that building, whatsoever it was, would tend toward sin and wickedness continually. And anyone that makes any form of the departed Temple which ejects its own Lord and Saviour inherits same curse, "to live without God!" This is what bred false prophesying - not preaching deep truths or preaching without being led by God or saying things not said by God and using the pulpit only to gain superiority over others, whereas, we are all brothers and equal before God the Father - Matt 23:8-12. Deception, He said, would be the order in that old structure which once pleased God in the wilderness, which was the old way of pleasing God, by the law. Likewise, everybody in that kind of building will become indulgent, mimicking, superficially display truths not rooted in them, truth they haven't practiced, experienced or made their own flesh - all deceits!
Now this is the antidote to falling a victim: First, avoid talking when Christ has not spoken. Don't be UNSENT, let Jesus speak first! Second, be prompt and diligent whenever you receive a call to serve, if not, you'll become a pillar, not of the church but of salt - 'UNSENDABLE' and useless. Third, don't love professional preaching, lest you fall, irredeemably.
