Prov 31:8-9

Forming or joining an advocacy group which pleads the cause of the poor, underprivileged and needy is a right thing. But such formations are not termed powerful and effectual if you live differently from your voice. Advocacy is first a proven life, then a group of like-minded persons, then the movement. Someone that hates the poor so much as leave them in poverty or poorer is automatically disqualified, he cannot be their mouthpiece. In the same vein, a cheat who knows only to take advantage of the underprivileged may not be worthy before God to stand up for them. Character smells.

Opening the mouth in their defense only comes as the Lord takes the centre stage, having certified us first, putting His seal of approval on our character, then passing vote of confidence on our nature. O yes, the seal can be yours only when that life-yet-to-be-voice is counted as righteousness for you.

Jos 1:7 says, " Only be strong and very courageous that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses my servant commanded you, do not turn from it to the right hand or the left, that you may prosper wherever you go ". Doing the will of God, the righteousness of God is not about the rights or wrongs, not turning the left or the right but simply doing the will of the Father. Isaiah 30:21 says, " Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, This is the way, walk in it, whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left" .
