why HE didn't marry 3
So, the Lord Jesus did not choose marriage, why? Matt 19:11-12
But Jesus said, "Not everyone is mature enough to live a married life. It requires a certain aptitude and grace. Marriage isn't for everyone. Some, from birth seemingly, never give marriage a thought. Others never get asked—or accepted. And some decide not to get married for kingdom reasons. But if you're capable of growing into the largeness of marriage, do it." MSG
Marrying is a gift as well as not marrying. As it is written, "marriage is not for everyone..." It then means each individual born has to sit to think and determine exactly what his calling entails. This takes place during the lonely waiting period, Lam 3:25-28. It's not sinful to marry, neither is it more glorious if you do. Those who successfully find their wives, suitable help meet, helper fit for their calling and purpose on earth have obtained favour from the Lord. So, it is a gift! I reiterate, marriage is NOT for everyone as the Lord said. Apostle Paul the Least but most effective of all 13 founding fathers of our faith, patterned his own life after Christ and who in like passion for God works, chose not marriage. This too, is a gift from the Lord. Brother Paul once exclaimed, this gift was given that he might work more than others, because those stay out of marriage are more concerned about God and happenings around God, His doings and feelings. 1 Corin 7:32-35
It's then of great importance to know and understand your own calling and follow its demands, not forgetting to count its cost. Mostly, with the gift of marrying is childbearing - the capability of having children for God, raising Godfearing seeds and filling the earth with the right seed. Mind you, these children are not yours, but God's heritage, the Lord's own. By implication, it has not made the married superior or inferior to the unmarried. Only determine what's yours!
