Saturday 26-11-2022 MYSTERY OF INIQUITY

Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. Mark 13:33 KJV

Listen! Watch! Pray! And the reason for this stern warning is "not knowing when the time comes!" Something, the Lord forewarns, would mute people's understanding when the time is. Many will try to know and understand but will be very difficult, instead they'd have an option, find solace in some false knowledge that, come what may, it won't be only them. That since they're "many" God wouldn't kill everybody or everyone of them. Had they meandered through, waited till God helped them out of that despair, they'd be spared of some "not-knowing-syndrome" when they ought be aware. "NKS" disease does not just jump on people, it's rather developed over time through careless, thoughtless living, afflicting especially those with seared conscience, with no response to the feelings and plights of others. They have always stopped their ears, closed their eyes, blocked their hearts from functioning properly. Now, when it'll be time to meet the Lord, they'll find it hard to change their settings. The same way their seared consciences work, not minding the rights of others is how it'll function when the Lord arrives! They'd see the Lord with their naked eyes, still unable to make changes. Their deeds would have sealed up, all done.

We don't always know things because we don't have to know every detail, being too careful or anxious about life. But if one step is taken at a time, first things first, we can overcome fears of not knowing tomorrow, the reappearing of our Lord, beginning from the Temple. If we spend ample time and privilege honouring others above our humble selves, there won't be issues knowing Christ or recognising the Time as scheduled of the Father.

Jos 1:7 says, " Only be strong and very courageous that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses my servant commanded you, do not turn from it to the right hand or the left, that you may prosper wherever you go ". Doing the will of God, the righteousness of God is not about the rights or wrongs, not turning the left or the right but simply doing the will of the Father.
