LIGHT BURDEN OF JESUS, 2

"Come to me, all you people who are very weary of trying to obey all the many laws that your religious teachers tell you to obey. I will enable you to quit trying to obey all those laws. Let me help you carry those loads, just like two oxen who have a yoke on their necks help each other pull a heavy load. It will not be difficult for you to do the things that I ask you to do for me. Because I am gentle and humble, accept what I teach about what God wants you to do. And as a result, you will quit worrying about obeying all the religious laws, and your spirits will be at peace.” Matt 11:28-30 T4T

The vision of transfiguration which the disciples of Jesus observed of Him - Peter James and John, was not to be told until after His resurrection from death, the Lord Himself warned them sternly. That vision was never about His supremacy and divinity, not anything personal, but a powerful revelation of why God created mankind - to live as lights. God had it tough when Creation was in progress. Lucifer "the angel of light", son of morning who was appointed guardian Cherub to watch over God's creation did God much harm, corrupting everything He created. Lucifer-turned-devil created "nothing" as it was not in his nature to create, yet had his way sowing tares among the wheats in God's holy field, the Earth. After the subvention of Light over darkness which gave God headway for His good creation, God commanded that all mankind must replenish the earth, fill not empty it.

Have you, all your life, been thinking of robbing the earth, to take away some portions amassing possessions for yourself, refuting God's order to rather "fill" the earth? You need a real change of heart right away, full repentance, if you will not be wiped out by God's holy flood. This time, not by waters of Noah but the fires of relief, of not been refreshed! Have you failed to undo the devil's primordial dark secret works by becoming a Light by which your generation sees? You need to repent expressly right now! Listen, had Light not been said into existence, you wouldn't exist. Why live then without the light? Why ever exist if not for Light? To what end? Why breathe against the light-life that birthed your existence? Why walk, looking into the blinding light of God, as if He did nothing to keep you alive?

The earth must be replenished because it lost so much at Creation that it became empty, void, formless, a chaotic mass. The devil had robbed God of glory and good things laying claims to many things, even the world being the first, though not the very first nor beginning. And unless you become light bearing seeds of light, you cannot fill the earth nor fulfill your purpose. The earth was bewildered through the devil's heinous activities and you're born, first, to redeem the earth, second, undo the his dark secret works exposing them Eph 5:11, third, replicate giving birth to fruit-bearing lights only, that the whole earth be full of lights. This was Lord Jesus' burden while He lived on earth.

Anyone that fails to "replenish the earth" as stated in the blessing pact of God with mankind in Gen 1:28, will eventually become fertilizer for the earth. Then you would hear, "From dust you come, to dust you return!" Most earnestly friend, such aren't encouraging words for any true child of God who's born in glory for glory - returning to dust only to fertilize the earth he failed to make better. God's warning to everyone is very clear: "Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth and subdue it - have dominion over everything created." This in true sense, makes Jesus' burden light to bear. It makes Jesus happy filled with smiles and joy that you're replenishing the earth. It'll also makes you live light, living the light-life and lightened. It keeps you focused, aimed at giving the earth and its peoples the best attention they require for betterment.

The way to live light in this hefty world is to bear the burden of Jesus, His burden, demand and care is light, so little and refreshing. Nothing extra. The load that Jesus will put on you is light, just as when travelling a long journey on a single shirt and trousers while everything needful meets you there! Having Jesus' yoke strapped on helps you live light, the light-life choosing right tools. The burden is simply same as one required for living, your breath, an involuntary action. Lot's wife died, turning to a pillar of salt for not living the light-life. The bible recalls that she turned back having been saved by grace from fires of Sodom and Gomorrah, through God's assigned angels, Gen 19:12-29. Lot's wife trailing her husband right far behind having been urged to move fast to beat God's deadline, she rather drag-on, slowed operation, got tired, weakened others' salvation and finally, thought of returning to Sodom. She looked back! Maybe this time, to evangelize and win more souls to the glory of God and shame of devil, but as soon as she turned to return, she became a pillar of salt.

Failure to live light, free and liberal is a proof that you're a pillar already, a pillar of salt. It only remain "looking back". Failure to spread out moving fast according to the word of the Lord to the ends of the earth is an indication that you're a pillar now, pillar of salt, worthless, a waste to be trampled on, useless and have lost your saltiness. Lot had great possession in Sodom, his place of primary investment was now on fire, burning down. The same wife that triggered his separation from Abram stood against God's move and nearly caused him damnation on their day of salvation.

Friend, what investments have you? What sowing has filled your heart so dearly? What in this world occupies your heart than the Almighty God, His deeds and doings? What thing burdens you so hard and has become a heavy millstone around your neck in place of mercy and truth? What things wind around you that will not make you fly when Jesus Christ shall appear in the sky? What easily besetting sin has reset your life to make life uneasy for you? What unnecessary burdens have you added on like prophet Jonah that life now is boring, abhorrent and loathsome? Why not come to Jesus today! Why not come that those loads may drop off your life? Why not run to Jesus holding the hems of His garment for a relief? Today might be your last chance, your day of opportunity. Today may be the last friend, come running to the Mercy Seat, approach His mercifulness. Plead with Him for your life and lightening of burden. Let Jesus offtake the burdens of your life, casting your care on Him while receiving His cast, the yoke. God is here, Jesus is here, their Holy Spirit is here, help has come, your help has come finally, in Jesus matchless name. Amen
