ENTERING YOUR REST 6

THE YOKE OF JESUS

"Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real test. Walk with me and work with me – watch how I do it. Thank God for last week, thank God that verse 28 was briefly examined while blessing Him also for this new week, trusting that He'll speak clearly to us as to His own chosen disciples in Jesus name, Amen. Now, if you've met Jesus coming to the Father in His name, I congratulate you because you already have rest - a shelter, shield and hiding place from the storms of life. The worries of this life no longer poise a threat to you. Congratulations again!

God fathers! God is a Father, the heavenly Father, the Source of Life. And you, having realized the truism of this word, must come to God knowing He's the only Father, One from whom every other father take their being or existence. Don't take it for play. And do not downplay it either because it is God's power to save you!

Everyone that'll be saved must see God as a Father, the only One, the Source and Finality of all Things. That was the summary of the Lord's message to everyone. After which He went to the cross at Calvary and died. Jesus Christ reiterated that anyone that does not believe this simple truth "God is the only Father - Matt 23:9" will not be saved. Moreover, Jesus the Son, One who reveals the Father, unveils our Purposes, same bequeaths the Father to everyone that believes!

This first and initial rest God gives when someone comes to Jesus is what singles him out for God's recognition. After this, such must be yoked, receiving the yoke of Jesus. Know this without any ambiguity: GOD DOES NOT USE UNRESTED VESSELS. Any resource material or person that's not sourced in God cannot be used of Him. If God will use anyone, His mark of rest and settlement must be evident on such.

Paul the Least said, "From henceforth, let no man trouble me for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus" Gal 6:17, having received this REST as well as the yoke of Jesus which makes God's ways more readily available and followable. Without this marks, this Yoke, you belong to the opposition, to the devil and his handiwork, you're an instrument in devil's hand to use and manipulate, a vice whereby his kingdom and domain is extended.

There's no one living without a yoke. In true sense, there's no free person. If Jesus' yoke is not on you, Satan has you. No matter how hardworking you are, your works are only for the Self, Sin, Satan - 666. This is why Gal 5:19-21 teaches us to avoid the works of the flesh! It says this way, "These are the manifestations when you try working for God..." Then verse 22 it says, "This is the fruit, the result when you allow God through His Spirit work in you..."

Working for God demands that you're yoke to Jesus, without which your works are void, unrealized and unacceptable. And if you insist on doing something for God, turning deaf ears to the dictates of His love, following sheepishly without His yoke, your works will be of flesh, for the devil and never to be rewarded by God. The only way to avoid this unrewarded works or working for Mr Iniquity the flesh is, being yoked with Jesus!

The yoke, His emblem, God's marks and Seal on the foreheads of every believer is very necessary Rev 7:2-3, if he won't malfunction working otherwise, that having laboured so hard denying yourself - name, fame and tame, you still live under the wraths of God. God forbid! So, Jesus says again today, "TAKE MY YOKE UPON YOU!" Receiving His yoke will lead you wisely to entering your own rest, the full rest and completion of the whole pact of God.

My friend, for how long are you going to contemplate on this matter? If God is worth serving, why not serve Him correctly, rightly in His way and according to His dictates? Look my friend, there's danger in fame without His name.... Though the yoke you'll receive is not for "fame" but surely it'll make you impact the earth, the whole world. See, it'll be a catastrophe if you end like Pharaoh of Egypt whom the whole world knew, who God raised and lifted but without His name. For God had said, "I will be known by the known" so He killed Pharaoh in the prime of his years, one who lived by the arm of his flesh in the waters of life - Sea of Reeds, the Red Sea.

Friend, why not come, take His yoke, that henceforth no one troubles or cause you harm? Bro, thank God you have come to Jesus, oya take His yoke as well - the completion of God's love to you that you don't live a wasted life or continue to live as an enemy of God alienated from His good covenant! Sis, now that you come, would you come a bit closer, close to receive His yoke, the mark of recognition of God's kingdom and permit to work as god, Ps 82:6? Don't end your life without the yoke of Jesus vividly seen on you! It is God's own way, defined and tailored to your greatness. The yoke is His mark and seal. Amen
