ELDER SHALL SERVE THE YOUNGER
"And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger."
Gen 25:23 KJV
God made us heads and not tail, to be above and not beneath. And that is if, we don't meddle in other people's business, rather concentrate on ours. God's promise to us is clear and firm, in that nobody is made to be tail trailing others. No, you're a head!
This promise holds, if you're at your duty post waiting, watching for every of God's move and doing only what He tells you. Your authority and dominion power over the space of your jurisdiction within the scope of operation or terms of reference for executions hold. God is very clear, He says in blessedness "You shall be the head, not the tail!" Deut 28:13
Leave that as it may, God foretelling the kind of life sons of Isaac would live thereafter said, "The Older Shall Serve The Younger". Written in the old testament as it were, in the former order of things, God figuratively was speaking of two different natures that would exist - Jacob and Esau.
Ever before they also came to be God had said, "Jacob I loved, Esau I hated", telling more about the subtle lives of these two sons of Isaac - a homely spirit of Jacob versus Esau's wildlife of the fields, Life that lives in tents against the beast spirit of unprotected open field; an obvious plain life opposing the obscure hiding life of hunters; rightly and timely spirit of all God's children against the cunning nature of children of men.
God insists, "I hate this red life of blood, seeking to shed blood - bloodthirsty, full of hairs and sensuality, the life of flesh after games and luck!" See how much Esau despised his birthright! He'd say,
"The only thing this useless birthright offers me is work, work, work and more work, no rest, no enjoyment! Everytime everybody says same thing, you're the older do more! The other day, my mum wouldn't let me rest asking I come cook for daddy. Meanwhile, Jacob is available."
So he longed and waited for that opportunity to sell off his right, that all-work-no-rest life and keep the entire family grounded with no hope for tomorrow.
To be continued.
