REFLEXIONS - SEVEN IN ONE

SEVEN-IN-ONE • 51MINS 17MB
These are the words of the Quester, David's son and king in Jerusalem. Ecclesiastes 1:1 MSG

Reflexions this new day, new week, new month and new year is a Seven-in-One blessing! It means everything you seek God for shall be answered 7x! For every single aspiration you have, God will give you sevenfold, yes, in this one year, in one month, one week and day! In Jesus name. What a glorious way to begin the New Year - with blessings! Alleluia

Without much ado, the text before us tells the "Quester" appearing in different forms and formats through translations, in fact, seven forms. Like I'd noted with you at commencement of Reflexions, the best way to thank God is to do His will. Ps 119:7 TLB says, "After you have  corrected me I will thank you by living as I should!" To live corrected and a life of correction - two different concepts, is far better than offering empty words of worship that God Himself had even remarked these people draw to me by lips but their hearts are far from Me.

Now, to hear this difference between the two concepts download this material mp3 link for a listen.

Ecclesiastes 1:1 presents the Quester these seven forms, which means living this life will be far more rewarding than the sayings of thanks:
1. QUESTER - an inquirer, enquirer, inquisitive, asking, seeking, panting after the truth, a missionary. That was what Solomon was! No wonder he found God.

2. PREACHER - a proclaimer, who practically reaches others especially his neighbors, lifts finger to help, a prophet, announcer, herald. Solomon was such king, who helped not only with words of his mouth but active words.

3. TEACHER - a type of Christ, wise, good and interesting teacher with vast experience stemmed from a life of growth, Heb 5:12. Solomon the King was such wonderful teacher that people coming to him found it hard leaving for their homes

4. ECCLESIA - the called out, each time God is starting a new thing He gives the people an Ecclesia, leader, apostle who'd be called from the previous works. King Solomon was an apostle, telling much about the millennium reign of Christ, constructing and instructing how it'll be.

5. PHILOSOPHER - a life thought, good hearer that seeks to understand virtually all things, he wouldn't open his mouth without deep thought and general sense presenting an impartial judgement, an overall view. The Preacher Solomon was a philosopher who invested massively in nature and to gain knowledge.

6. LEARNED - one whose life and decisions are based on knowledge, fills himself with knowledge so he doesn't return empty. "Naked we come, naked we depart" is not his slogan. The wise Solomon was a learned King who governed Israel and ruled the entire earth by wisdom.

7. YOU - your thoughts, aspirations, desires, ambitions, forethought, foreknowledge. Solomon was a beloved of God who sought Him without reserves, painstakingly. 1Kings 3:5-13 showed his nature of heart towards God - how and for what reasons he looked for God.

Friend, this is a wake up call to you today. For what reasons do you seek God? What motives do you thank Him? Do you just want to pull crowd and leave then stranded, knowing people can be gullible? This is a new month and will you not change your approach to the things of God? This a new Year bro, will you not draw near God than stay afar to offer Him fake praises from your lips but not heart? Sis, are you continuing your life journey without God thinking God is not the only One?
