The wise shall inherit glory, but shame shall be the legacy of fools. Proverbs 3:35 NKJV

DAY 3, LEGACIES

The wise leaves a legacy of glory and honour and would have lived or inherited the same. It's quite impossible to leave or lay the foundation of glory and honour without living such a life to everybody's conscience.

The honour here is that which comes from God. Those who glory in the honour of men fail to receive God's honour. Likewise, wisdom here is plain because there's also a cunning type, which is not acceptable to God. Both are exemplified in Jacob and Esau.

The fools have only one thing in common: they believe there's no God, Ps 14:1-7. They usually don't have the patience to wait for God to act. Most times, they take laws into their own hands - be it God's law or the Government's. They're fools! And all who fail the waiting test of any category have no part in God.

Doing the will of God, the righteousness of God is not about the rights or wrongs, not turning the left or the right but simply doing the will of the Father. Isaiah 30:21 says, " Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, This is the way, walk in it, whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left" . Following God is not about having a set of rules of dos and don'ts or ever and never or living anyhow thinking the grace of God is always available but following His voice - voice leading. An
